Detox Your Body With These Simple Cleanses!

Food can be a powerful tool in our arsenal to fight against disease. It nourishes our body and its’ systems and is an essential part of maintaining optimal health.

Starting out, I worked as private chef, followed by a succession of jobs as a line cook and then on to catering. I even opened a bakery on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. I was hired to train and manage a staff in the art of wholesome pastry baking...... for DOGS. It was while working professionally that I decided to return to writing. As fate would have it, my education was put to good use while raising a family of my own. Through out my journey as a cook, I have learned and continue to learn that food, as wonderful as it can be, is only part of the equation when it comes to being truly healthy. A healthy diet is essential, but when combined with #mindfulness and perhaps a bit of #meditation you can design your own bulletproof wellness program. I will continue to share recipes to support #health and #wellness (carefully selected from the many vintage cookbooks that I cherish), but don’t forget to look beyond your diet.

Work on becoming aware of your thoughts and how they affect you. Try and surround yourself with people that support a healthy lifestyle.
